Who can do Safety Audit
- A safety audit is a very critical and comprehensive exercise and it should be done by the trained, knowledgeable and expert in their respective fields. The auditor should also have knowledge of management systems, and knowledge of different activities and rules applicable in the auditee industry. Safety auditors should also have expertise in uncovering weaknesses in employer`s Safety programs or practices.
- A critical and comprehensive safety audit can give clues/guidance for designing the safety plan, policy, and program, which will fulfill the safety audit objective.
- Ideally, a Safety auditor should be qualified, having knowledge of his field. Some of the states e.g. Haryana, Maharashtra also appointed certified Safety auditors.
